About me

My vision is to make the benefits of yoga available to as many people as possible. Before becoming a certified yoga teacher, I spent most of my days in large multinational corporations traveling around the world.

I fell in love with yoga when my company sent me on an international assigment that took me from Zurich, Switzerland, to New York City where I had my first class at OM Yoga Center. A couple of years later, I graduated from OM Yoga Center's renowened teacher training. In addition, I studied Sivananda yoga at the Sivanada Yoga Vedanta Centre in Trivandrum, India, and Ashtanga yoga with Dr. Kamaraj in Varkala, India.

Born and raised in Southern Germany, I started my professional life in banking, working for an American investment bank in Frankfurt, Germany. Searching for a profession that was more meaningful to me, I left Germany and went back to school to get my MSc in Psychology from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. I worked in various international positions in the Human Resources departments of large multinational companies, most recently as a leadership trainer and consultant for a global pharmaceutical company based in Basel, Switzerland.

For me, practicing yoga does not mean to give up your worldly life. Yoga helps you to get in touch with your true self, to be physically fit and mentally balanced. This gives you enormous strength and energy from within to live your life fully, more mindfully, and more peacefully.
